Product details: DPS Carbon Koala 111 (incl. Phantom) 24/25 Skis
The updated Carbon Koala 111 is a playful mid-fat charger in the DPS All-Mountain family. As the middle child, it’s a fusion of its bigger (118mm) and smaller (103mm) siblings.
At 111mm underfoot, it’s a great powder and soft snow width, but it’s a bit more friendly and versatile than the 118 when the powder firms up. It takes after the 103 with a flex profile that bends smoothly around the skier’s foot, making for snappy turns in supportive conditions.
Though playful and poppy, the new hybrid carbon construction manages a powerful turn on hard snow, too. It lays smooth butters with ease and style, slides and arcs through trees and features, and launches you in the air with intuitive 4-pt landings.
The Carbon Koala 111 is the charging ski you can rely on for fun, playful all-mountain skiing in all snow conditions.
Rocker: ~40 % Rocker; ~60 % Effective Edge
Technology
The Carbon Koalas were born to give DPS athletes top level free ski performance in an All- Mountain ski. They reflect the modern progression of style, allowing a playful freestyle approach while still supporting the traditional art of the turn.
A moderate 18m turn radius, modest tip and tail rocker, and new hybrid Carbon construction has the Koala skis hitting the sweet spot of stability and high-performance maneuverability, so you’re laughing at top speeds or hopping between pillows. These are All-Mountain skis for anyone who likes to ski with a modern, more centered position.
For Fall 2024, the Carbon Koalas are made in the Salt Lake City factory, in the shadow of their testing grounds in the Wasatch Mountains. This gives them an industry leading lifetime warranty, which is unrivalled for a ski in this class. You can have confidence in these skis in all conditions, and know that they’ll hold up for as many days as you can sneak off to the mountains.

Long-lasting ideal gliding properties, without classic waxing of skis and snowboards.
PHANTOM Glide was developed by dps Ski in 2016 with the idea of creating an environmentally friendly alternative to wax that ensures gliding properties over the entire product life cycle of skis and snowboards.
Advantages:
- PHANTOM Glide is only applied once to ski and snowboard bases and permanently changes their structure.
- The gliding ability in the snow is maintained in changing conditions and temperatures.
- Thanks to non-reactive chemical functional groups, PHANTOM Glide is the safe choice for both the environment and the user.
