The outer material of this shoe consists almost exclusively of the renewable raw material cork. To make the actually fragile cork hard-wearing and flexible, it is split into thin slices and combined with a carrier material. In this form, Doghammer makes use of the natural properties of cork for their shoes. They are: temperature-regulating, breathable and water-repellent. The strongly profiled outdoor sole made in Germany also contains cork and offers you a secure grip even in slippery conditions and snow. The cork content in the sole not only makes the Arctic Cork lighter, but also has a decisive ecological advantage, as it reduces the amount of rubber needed. The edge strip made of recycled rubber and cork, also made in Germany, provides optimal protection for your feet from stones or roots.

The removable insole is made of - cork and recycled EVA. The cork ensures a dry and comfortable foot climate and prevents the insole from slipping inside the shoe, while the EVA is slightly anatomically shaped and cushions your every step.

The inner lining of the Arctic Cork Adventurer is made of mulesing-free wool (merino). The temperature-regulating wool offers you unparalleled comfort - warming on cold days and cooling on warm days. In the heel area, the wool has been cut out at the cork insert and thus offers a better hold and prevents the annoying hole formation of the inner lining.

Information:
The Cork Adventurer runs a little larger and is a sporty cut shoe with a last width of "F". Doghammer recommends taking half a size smaller for narrower feet. If you're otherwise between two sizes, take the smaller size. Example: If you wear between 41 and 42 with other brands, try a size 41.
