Ergonomic hip fins, shoulder straps, chest strap and position adjustment straps offer individual adjustment options to distribute the weight optimally. Side mesh inserts allow for good ventilation of the interior, and perforated shoulder straps also provide comfortable ventilation for the wearer.

The robust aluminium frame has a wide footprint, making it easy to get into the Kraxe. The height of the child seat and footrests can be adjusted. Deuter has used airy, soft cover fabrics in the seat area, while more robust, wipe-clean fabrics can be found on the feet. The removable chin pad is washable, and even the cover can be removed separately.
