When Castelli set out to develop the original Espresso jersey, they wanted to create a jersey that you would always enjoy wearing, regardless of whether you normally wear an aerodynamic road jersey or a regular-fit jersey. Castelli developed a fabric that allows for a close fit without feeling restrictive or tight. The proprietary Air_O fabric also offers excellent breathability and moisture management and has proven itself in the wind tunnel. With innovation in Castelli's DNA and a healthy passion for detail, they set out to perfect Castelli's favorite jersey. Among the innovations of the Espresso 2 short-sleeved jersey is an even better fit: close-fitting, but never constricting. Castelli has paid a lot of attention to improving the pocket structure to provide even better support and compression while reducing sagging, and they have given the edge a beautiful finish. Of course, the fourth zippered pocket for valuables remains indispensable. You'll find the updated, subtle logos in tone-on-tone colors and Castelli's signature red scorpion on the zipper puller.
