Burton Family Tree Flight Attendant X Splitboard Men 19/20
Fly a little higher with this tricked-out version of our hardest charging, deepest diving splitboard.
When Burtons shapers split the Burton Flight Attendant, they took a natural terrain slayer and set it loose into the backcountry habitat. Now take that freeride fury and crank it up to eleven with the same technology found in their Mystery models, like Mystery Glass for unmatched power and control, and an ultra-quick methlon base. All its free-ranging attributes – including a floaty, directional shape mixed with the comfort of a twin feel when cruising on a flat base – translate to unrestricted freedom in pillow stacks, cliff drops, and deep, untracked pow.
3-Year Burton Warranty
All 2014 and newer Burton snowboards with The Channel mounting system (such as the one you are looking at here) are backed by a three-year warranty from date of purchase.
Entry rocker causes the nose to lift while camber under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions.
Freeride Directional Shape
Twin or directional is the age-old question for creative rippers like Terje. Balanced Freeride Geometry ends the debate with setback camber and a sidecut that is centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge it turns tight and quick with the float and prowess expected from a directional deck.
A tapered shape means the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow floatation. Look for different amounts of taper throughout the line.
This flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.
FSC™ Certified Dragonfly™ 600G Splitboard Core
Use of end-grain woods in impact zones allows us to swap heavier woods for lighter weight species without sacrificing strength.
Profiled core for easier board control, more energy, and pop.
Burtons most versatile Squeezebox profile improves pop and performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board snappier, more stable, and easier to manipulate.
Using a formula from the future, Mystery Glass is the result of a robotic-built complex carbon layup that allows us to manipulate flex and feel while revolutionizing strength-to-weight.
Ultra durable and low-maintenance, Burton’s highest grade sintered base creates blistering speed that lasts all season.
Go ahead and get picky with your splitboarding stance, and continue to fine-tune it as the season unfolds. With the Split Channel, you get the strongest, fastest, easiest, and most adjustable mounting system ever offered on a splitboard. The days of compromise are officially over. All Burton splitboards with the Split Channel come with pucks pre-mounted for easy setup and now feature the Karakoram UltraClips for the best possible connection.
Super Sap® Epoxy
Super Sap® is a resin formulated with bio-based materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional all-petroleum-based epoxies. Less oil consumption means even less of a carbon footprint per board.
