The Thunderbird R18 LTD is the ideal carver for long and sweeping turns, equipped with the best piste characteristics.

With a radius of 18 meters, this ski absorbs unevenness on the piste effortlessly. The innovative Trueblend wood core, in which wood of different densities is glued lengthwise, makes the ski harder and more stable under the binding, which guarantees a safe ride. Softer woods at the ends provide dynamics so that even difficult piste conditions are easy to master.

Additional stability and safety is provided by Active Carbon Armor technology, a carbon construction that reliably absorbs vibrations and shocks. The model is supplied with the XCELL 12 DEMO binding as standard. The Thunderbird R18 LTD thus combines performance, safety and comfort for demanding skiers.

TRUEBLEND PISTE WOODCORE

PERFECT BALANCED FLEX
Two different types of wood specifically blended into one woodcore. The different density stringers are customized in quantity and length creating 3 different areas of density to precisely control the flex.

ACCESSIBLE PERFORMANCE
The Trueblend Piste Woodcore is designed with a harder flex zone in the center, that provides stability and edge grip, a medium flex zone in front of and behind the binding that provides control, and a soft flex zone in the tip and tail that provides easy turn initiation and release. Trueblend technology allows us to precisely control the flex throughout the whole length of the ski and in every size.
