The Atomic Backland FR is a telescopic pole that fits perfectly with the Bent Chetler and the wider Backland skis and was developed in collaboration with freeski legend Chris Benchetler.

A good freeride pole is lightweight, easy to handle and designed to meet the demands of freeskiing. That's why the Backland FR is made of lightweight aluminium alloy, has a non-slip freeride grip from the bike range and an 85 mm powder plate for more buoyancy.

In addition, Atomic has given the Backland FR telescopic pole a handy ski binding screwdriver that makes it easy to make small repairs or adjustments on the go. A carbide tip protects the pole when in contact with rocks and trees.
