The new ski construction, a reinterpretation of the original Backland, reduces CO₂ emissions by 30 % through the use of locally sourced poplar wood, less fiberglass and resin, and reduced-waste sidewalls. The result is a lower impact construction that produces a lighter, stronger ski with more responsive performance. The All-Terrain profile uses a new ratio of natural wood to fiberglass to modify the ski's thickness curve and increase torsional stiffness for improved climbing ability and optimized downhill performance on harder snow surfaces.

HRZN 3D - the next generation of Atomic's original HRZN technology - features a uniquely bevelled three-dimensional shovel that further enhances flotation in powder and handling in changing snow conditions.
