The Atomic Backland 88 is a versatile, resource-efficient touring ski that shapes the future of your sport.

The construction, optimized based on a scientific life cycle assessment, produces less manufacturing waste and 30% fewer CO2-equivalent emissions (compared to the Backland 85 from 2021) without sacrificing a gram of performance. The reason: more raw materials with lower CO2 emissions and waste-reducing sidewalls are used.

Additionally, the All-Terrain Profile made from more poplar wood but less fiberglass and resin optimizes the ski's stability. The beveled tip with HRZN 3D provides better flotation in powder. It also works harmoniously with the Dura Cap sidewall – for direct power transmission from the tip to the sidewalls and edges.

The Atomic Backland 88 offers the perfect mix of flow and performance for touring skiers who are active all over the mountain.
