The Atomic Backland 85 ushers in a new era of ski design. Based on a professional life cycle assessment, it is an all-round touring ski with optimized construction and performance: The ski's CO2 emissions were reduced by 30% through the use of locally sourced poplar wood, less fiberglass and resin, and waste-reducing sidewalls.

The new, wide three-dimensional HRZN 3D tip provides better flotation in powder and less rebound. Additionally, the newly developed All-Terrain Profile offers increased torsional stiffness and an improved flex pattern for better grip on harder snow.
