Product details: Atomic Backland 80 SL 21/22
A great ski for alpine touring, Atomic Backland 80 SL is built with superlight SL Fiberglass, Ultra Light Woodcore and a Carbon Backbone to reduce overall weight for efficient uphill performance. A bit narrower than the Backland 86 SL, this smooth, stable, and super lightweight ski loves to climb.
Solid on the way down, the All Mountain Rocker allows the ski to blast through variable conditions and the Carbon Backbone provides exceptional agility and stable edge grip on the descent. A cut-out notch in the tips allows for quick and easy skin transitions. Super lightweight, smooth, and stable this ski sits between Backland UL and regular Backland skis.

Dura Cap Sidewall
Sidewall from base to top sheet, for controlled power transmission and great edge grip.
The rounded shape of the Dura Cap Sidewall picks up fewer dents and dings – a fantastic durability feature for skis in demo and rental fleets.
An ultra-lightweight carbon insert that runs the length of the ski like a stabilizing backbone. This provides exceptional agility and edge hold with no extra weight.
HRZN Tech Tip
HRZN Tech adds 10 % more surface area at your ski tips. For awesome floatation in powder plus less tip deflection and better tracking through chop.
