With 100 mm of waist underfoot, the new Armada Stranger combines piste carving with freestyle and freeride characteristics. For endless wheelies and extra pop, the straight, edgeless butter zone in the tip together with the rockered springboard tail provide.

Armada started with a straightforward goal of building a ski to make the average day more fun, something that could carve hard, trick and butter anywhere on the mountain, and perform in a variety of conditions.

The resulting creation, The Stranger, that blends Freeride and freestyle attributes into a truly unique package. A tight 15m radius, a rockered springboard tail and a straight-tapered edgeless butter zone in the tip combine to make a ski that pops, carves and butters unlike anything else.

AR FREESTYLE ROCKER
Rockered tips and tails are combined with positive camber under foot to allow the ski to charge with ease through unpredictable snow and maintain a solid carve when asked to do so. Turn the whole mountain into your playground.

POPLAR ASH CORE
Lightweight Poplar is combined with higher density full-length Ash stringers to create an incredibly lively ski with all the power needed for boosting to new heights.

2.5 IMPACT EDGE
Oversized and specially heat treated, this edge is built to resist impact damage in the most demanding situations.

S7 BASE
A sintered base optimized for speed, durability and wax retention.

SPRINGBOARD TAIL
Calculated design in the tail provides maximum energy feedback when pressing to provide a unique rebound on snow.

EDGELESS TIP
No metal edge in the tip of the ski reduces swing weight and gives a unique feel when buttering and pressing.

AR75 SIDEWALL
Sidewall on 75% of the ski to allow for weight savings on tip and tail while maintaining ridgitiy and drive in the prime zone.
