Locator Series

Technology

Caruba core
Armada's lightest core material, Caruba, offers first-class performance characteristics without sacrificing weight. With its snappy, resilient ride characteristics and versatile construction features, it is ideal for a wide range of applications. Caruba is also our most sustainable core material, regrowing in a fraction of the time required by poplar and ash.

AR75 Sidewall
Sidewall on 75% of the ski to allow weight savings in the tip and tail while maintaining ridgitiy and drive in the prime zone.

EST Freeride Rocker
The rocker on the toe and the additional tip taper ensure optimized floatation in soft material. Positive camber underfoot and no tail rocker ensure that the ski stays on the rail when carving is the priority.

1.7 Edge
This light and robust, heat-treated edge has minimal impact on the feel of the ski and ensures a snappy, light ride.

TI Binding Damper
Under the binding, a sandwich of rubber and Titanal reduces vibrations that would otherwise penetrate your boots and shorten your skiing day. The additional damping allows you to ski from bell to bell.

Carbon Stringers
Specially placed carbon stringers, used either along the entire length or at specific points, provide more pop and stiffness without adding weight.
