Clean the trails with Erik Ahlstroem
Join the Plogga & Fika event on April 6, 2025 and experience a unique adventure that combines environmental protection, exercise and community. Under the guidance of Erik Ahlstroem, the founder of plogging and known for his enthusiasm for outdoor activities and environmental protection, we will clean up the trails around Garmisch-Partenkirchen together. Whether you are a leisurely unner or a passionate trail runner - everyone can take part and actively contribute to protecting nature.
After plogging, a relaxed fika break awaits you with Swedish snacks and coffee from the coffee shop Der Laden, as well as an exciting talk by Erik and a giveaway .

Plogga is a combination of the words ‘plocka’ (pick up, collect) and ‘jogga’ (jogging). This involves collecting garbage while running with garbage cans to clean up the environment and promote recycling.
Route & running group:
> Eckbauer route
> There are 2 groups for the run. Depending on your fitness level, you can choose between the more relaxed or the faster group.
Test material from Scarpa and Deuter:
> Scarpa shoes
> Deuter running backpacks and dirt bags
Who is Erik Ahlstroem?
Erik has been active in ski touring, adventure racing and trail running for over 25 years. As the founder of numerous events such as Kebnekaise Classic, BAMM and Åre Extreme Challenge and initiator of the Salomon Trail Tour, he has played a key role in shaping the Swedish trail running scene.

Timetable
Meeting point & issuance of material: 10:00 am at the ConRadl Bike Shop next to the Sport Conrad store
Start of the run: 11:00 a.m. - Duration approx. 1.5 - 2 hours
Return: approx. 13:00 p.m. - After the plogging we return to the Sport Conrad store
Food & Drinks: from 13:00 p.m. - refreshments are provided - tasty snacks and drinks provided by Der Laden
Talk by Erik Ahlstroem: 14:00 p.m. - Erik talks about sustainable outdoor activities, environmental protection, experiences and tips.
End of the event: approx. 15:30 p.m.
