And best of all, it's stopping in Garmisch-Partenkirchen! On January 11, 2026, it's time to put on your ski gear and head out into the snow! Test the latest Mammut equipment and learn from experienced mountain guides how to stay safe in the mountains. Whether it's the correct use of avalanche equipment or what to do in an emergency, here you'll gain the knowledge that counts.

What can you expect?

Test equipment

At this event, you can test the latest products from Mammut. These include shovels, probes, avalanche transceivers, and avalanche backpacks. You can also test the avalanche backpack release mechanism.
To borrow equipment, simply come by and participate.

Where: Zugspitzbahn mountain station in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Ticket prices: €15 (excluding booking fee)

The program

From 8 a.m.: Distribution of test equipment, consultation, airbag test releases, return of test equipment, distribution of vouchers and goodies
> 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.: First safety session with guide
> 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Second safety session with guide

> Search scenarios, companion rescue, organization of first responders on site

> Proper probing and shoveling techniques
> Exercises in using the correct emergency equipment
