Sustainable retro style sportswear

YMR Track Club was developed in 2017 by former Olympic athlete Peter Häggström Lindecrantz − as a tribute to the 100th anniversary of his sports club, IK Ymer. "At YMR Track Club, our aim is to be a role model in creating functional performance wear with a unique fashion image that are both locally knitted and sustainable," says the founder himself. The DNA of YMR Track Club comes from track and field, even though performance clothing is worn by everyone who loves sports. In track and field, every hundredth of a second or every centimeter counts and can make the difference between success and failure.

This mindset influences the design of the products, as the brand develops solutions for functionality and fabrics that facilitate patterns of movement, for example when running. "We want to run today, and tomorrow" − expresses the basic attitude of the brand, which today is produced in the famous Swedish textile district of Sjuhärad: Here, one finds the know-how for producing premium fabrics and fashion that are durable and marked by their unique technical and functional properties. "This is where for example my grandfather used to have a shirt factory back in the days and I’m proud to pass on the legacy to technical and sustainable performance wear,” says Häggström Lindecrantz.
