Armada has all freeskiers´ needs covered

This feeling was the impetus to awaken a young and vibrant scene. What it meant was: the piste is for yesteryear! Now, it´s time for freeskiing! Armada jumped on the bandwagon, being a trailblazer and role model of the new movement. This shouldn´t come as a surprise, since even top skiers such as JP Auclair, Tanner Hall, JF Cusson, Julien Regnier, and Boyd Easley wanted to get rid of the chains of traditional skiing. Their quest was to live their own skiing dream. And this very dream significantly differed from everything else you could find in the conventional ski circus of pros and amateurs. That was how the first independent ski brand came into existence, in which five young lose cannons strutted their stuff under the name of “Armada”.

Accordingly, Armada harbors a broad range of freeskis. Being one of the first brands to make this sport popular and, actually being somehow synonymous with the sport, an elaborate product range is a must-have. Armada subdivides its range of freeskis into four categories: freestyle skis, freeride skis, all mountain skis, and touring skis.

The Deepest series speaks directly to the absolute powder-freaks because models like the Armada Magic J, Armada JJ, and Armada TST, featuring a width way above 110mm, are predestined for any powder dreams. A little less voluminous and more versatile are the all mountain allrounders, like the Armada Invictus. No matter if the slopes, powder, or backcountry: these allrounders are suited for any terrain. The same goes for the ARV freestyle range, also offering some skis for kids. The skis of this range feature similar widths like the all mountain skis, however, ARV models are particularly designed for freestyle action. This also explains the affinity toward jibbing, buttering, and nose-press-tail-press-action. Finally, there is the rather new touring ski range Kufo, clearly aiming at the emerging trend of free-touring. Here, the slogan „Earn your Turns“ comes into play. This means unprecedented freedom, even beyond the ski lifts and slopes. Longer ascents are part of the game here. In order to do just that, your ski needs to be as lightweight as possible. At the same time, the width can be rather abundant for maximum fun in powder. This is a fine line where specialists are needed. This is the exact right scope for ski specialists like Armada.

Everything for the Armada family

Part of a trendy, young ski brand, of course, is the according apparel. Fresh, cool designs and styles are supposed to set Armada´s youngsters apart from the bulk of other skiers. This is an additional exclamation point and further underlines: we are different! The Armada ski and snowboard line provides jackets, pants, and accessories for the powder day, jibs, rails, and also for the time thereafter. What all of these products have in common: functionality. Just like the rest of the ski equipment, which will help to identify you as a part of the worldwide Armada family. Bags, gloves, and ski poles are all part of this.
