Adidas – a brand, a name, a promise. Since 1949, this brand exists with its famous three stripes as their logo. The headquarters are located in Herzogenaurach. It is their goal to be the best sports brand there is. Since 2006, the brand Reebok is part of adidas. The founder Adi Dassler already had high ambitions and the brand continuously develops and improves. Just like top athletes worldwhide do.

adidas TERREX – heading into the mountains

adidas TERREX was created to meet the needs of those, doing sports in the mountains on the highest level with innovative and functional products. Gear made fort he ups and downs is what they promise. And adidas TERREX certainly fulfills this promise with versatile outdoor equipment: climbing, trail running, biking or ski touring. The TERREX products are extremely light weight, easy to store and durable.

Next to a couple of innovative technologies, the highest quality materials are used: GORE-TEX®, PrimaLoft®, Polartec® and Pertex®. Continental tires’ rubber is used for the soles of shoes, giving safety and extreme light weight when on tour.

Currently, adidas has almost 3.000 shops worldwide, 55.000 employees in more than 160 countries, producing more than 778 Mio. products each year. The collections consist to a large part of soccer, running, original and training products. More specific collections hold sports such as tennis, swimming, golf, rugby, biking, skateboarding, weightlifting, hockey and boxing.

Also, the outdoor and snowboard collections are growing. There are now also clothes for skiing, ski touring and cross country skiing!

The brand is very much engaged in sustainability, where it has been one of the top 3 brands in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. adidas represents innovation and functionality on the highest level, top athletes and teams wear the clothing on the most important sports events. They also have a partnership with the environmental organization Parley for the Oceans, representing their current philosophy and vision.
