JOHAN LINDEBERG - FOUNDER OF THE BRAND

Johan Lindeberg wanted to change the fashion world. He was inspired by his sister, who also was a designer. Beginning with Hans Brindfors Annonsbyra Johan Lindeberg increased the sales figures of Diesel jeans enormously and was therefore appointed by Renzo Rosso, the founder of Diesel, in 1992 as the international marketing director. And even then Johan Lindeberg felt that the right jeans or sports shoes would change people's lives. After his excellent start, however, he wanted to dare something new. He wanted a brand that he himself would like to wear in combination with a style that is nowhere else to be found.

The J.Lindeberg brand always wants to improve itself and is therefore willing to make some experiments. In addition they accept failures because they think that you can only get forward if you dare something. The company fabricates products for numerous sports such as golf or skiing. The special feature is that J.Lindeberg is represented in more than 35 countries.

But it is not just the athletes who are enthusiastic about the brand. For this season the women´s collection of the brand J.Lindeberg was nominated for Damernas Värld Guldknappen. This is an annual award, which is devoted to swedish fashion designers.In addition, the J.Lindeberg brand is the official clothing sponsor of the Omega European Masters in Crans-Montana in the heart of Switzerland-the third year in a row. The best golfers from all over Europe are taking part on this event. Tyrrell Hatton, Johan Carlsson and Lee Slattery played there for example, equipped with the new J.Lindeberg golf collection. J.Lindeberg has changed the golf fashion and made a big appearance when Johan Lindeberg equipped Jesper Parnevik with pink pants, establishing him as a style icon of golf. In the skiing area, J.Lindeberg can also win more and more athletes. Sandra Lahnsteiner, a freeskier from the region around Salzburg came for example to Team JL.
